David Sams is one of the world's most respected marketing strategists, a nine-time Emmy winning TV producer, author, speaker, and emerging technologies guru. Sams began his national TV career as the head of global marketing and creative affairs for a small family-owned company known as King World, helping to build two highly-popular network television game shows Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! into two of the most successful syndicated television programs in history. While at King World, Sams was credited for his creative work in helping to propel The Oprah Winfrey Show into the #1 syndicated talk show in television history, winning numerous Emmy Awards along the way.

 

He has been featured in the pages of TVGUIDE, USATODAY, and ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. He has appeared on 60 MINUTES, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, NBC’S TODAY, DATELINE NBC, and WORLD NEWS TONIGHT. He is listed in WHO'S WHO IN ENTERTAINMENT, WHO'S WHO IN AMERICA, and WHO'S WHO IN THE WORLD. 

 

In 2003, Sams ran for governor of California in the historical gubernatorial recall election, eventually losing to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

 

In addition to his Emmy's, Sams has also won 5 Addy awards, a Best Infomercial of The Year Award, a Telly Award, and an Angel Award for Excellence in Media.
