Billy Martinez is an artist, painter and musician, and has worked in the comic book industry for over 14 years Billy is the creator of the cult classic comic Wildflower, and has freelanced for companies such as Peregrine Entertainment, Heavy Metal Magazine and Image Comics. He created his own publishing company, Neko Press and introduced some of the best esoteric comic book titles by top notch artist and writers in the industry. 

 

Billy later became a regular artist for Heavy Metal Magazine and was hired to do work on The Family Guy and Hellboy trading cards for Inkworks. Billy owned and ran a popular Art School in San Diego for 17 years before closing shop and moving to Nashville in 2014 to surround himself with his second passion, music. In addition to numerous live painting shows he does, Billy currently teaches art classes at Watkins College and the Film Institute, and is a staple at Comic-Con and comic conventions around the country.
